Skint & Demoralised

Fronted by teenage poet and lyricist Matt Abbott and behind the scenes producer and man of mystery, Mini Dog, Skint & Demoralised seem set for stardom with their unashamedly emotion-grabbing, three minute pop songs, packed with sugar-rush tunes.

Fuelled by Abbott’s heartfelt poetry – which draws inspiration from lyrical heavyweights Bowie, Mike Skinner, Eminem, John Cooper Clarke and Squeeze – their debut album, Love And Other Catastrophes is a rush of Johnny Marr guitar riffs and drive time friendly harmonies. Chuck in some killer choruses and you’ve got one of the sun-dappled pop albums of the year.

Skint & Demoralised will be appearing on the Phrased & Confused stage on Sunday at 1645.

Please note, all running times are subject to change. See the Phrased & Confused blackboard in the tent each day for final running times.
