Phrased & Confused was for the kind of person who makes sure they buy their CDs with the bigger booklet, has a favourite lyric, a poetic outlook or appreciates the wordsmith at their anvil.

In a relaxed gig setting Emma Pollock, Chris T-T, Brendan Cleary and Sore Throat brought the audience a night of music, words, lyrics and lines. Specially chosen for their passion for writing and differing styles Phrased & Confused gave everyone the chance to explore and enjoy the family bucket combo of music and words.

Our host for the evenings were the artists themselves who introduced a unique collection of intimate singer-songwriter sets, beat poetry, spoken word performances and of course themselves. Our artists had loads of new stuff to share. Phrased & Confused took you into a parallel universe where you could have some drinks, share some thoughts, moonwalk the line between poetry and song, pluck out of the air some words to keep for a rainy day and bring your favourite lyric, if it's allowed to stay out late.
